The Stutz Basketball Academy (SBA) will reopen starting with the Summer Schedule on Tuesday, May 26th.
There will be Small Group Sessions (10 or less) at 9 and 10am and private sessions at 11, during the week. Wednesday 9am will be for high school-aged girls and 10am will be for high school-aged boys.
Due to the Covid-19 virus, each player will be required to bring their own basketball, a tennis ball, and drink to each session they attend. When they enter and leave the facility hand sanitizer will be available. They are also encouraged to bring their own bottle of sanitizer if they wish.
Prior to the session, designated spots, 6 feet apart, will be available for them to change into their basketball shoes and keep their personal belongings there, as well. There will also be 10 bleacher spots available, also 6 feet apart, for parents that want to stay and watch.
During the workouts, we will encourage 6-feet of spacing between players and we will instruct them not to touch another player’s basketball, at any time.
On this page, you will also see the Summer Schedule article. Download the form, fill it out, and then take a photo of it. Then text that photo to me, Coach Stutz, at the number provided.
If you would like to book a Private Session, go to the Kansas City tab and you’ll see a calendar. Look for a day and time that states “SBA Private”. Text that date or dates to me (Coach Stutz), as well. If it has an SBA and a player’s name or initials, then that spot is taken.
The Summer Clinics are still up in the air as to whether or not they will happen. I don’t think the June clinic will, but hopefully, all will be clear enough for the July Clinic to take place.
Lastly, “Virtual Skill Training Sessions” are also an option through the Zoom app. Let me know if you are interested in learning how they work. I’m doing about 20 virtual sessions a week, right now.
