Our Program

Our Philosophy leads us to believe that kids don’t spend near enough time on developing their basketball skills. Our Vision makes us want to see each academy member reach their highest potential through proper skill development training. Our Mission drives us to use all possible techniques to ensure each academy member is exposed to an excellent level of training.

What We Do

Stutz Basketball is a basketball training program for boys and girls of ages 10+. We teach excellence in ball handling, shooting, and most importantly, character. The only requirement to join Stutz Basketball is a positive attitude and a willingness to get better.

Why We Exist

Stutz Basketball exists to transform individuals on and off the court through elite basketball training. Stutz Basketball is committed to seeing communities and student athletes grow in their game and become better people off the court.

How We Do It

Stutz Basketball takes discipline, hard work, and commitment. These values translate directly to the sessions, direction, and coaching Stutz Basketball provides our athletes. Our players will receive high level instruction in all phases of the game. Whether it’s ball handling or shooting, our athletes will get the best. In return, we demand their best effort. We are committed to seeing out the potential in each athlete.

What Others Think

In a May, 2011 article they stated:

“Americans simply can’t dribble, pass, work the post or shoot the rock as well as our foreign counterparts like Dirk Nowitzki. Overseas, coaches still drill their players in fundamentals and teach how to play the game.”

When interviewed about the necessity of skills training:

“You can practice shooting eight hours a day, but if your technique is wrong, then all you will become is very good at shooting the wrong way. Get the fundamentals down and the level of everything else you do will rise.”

When interviewed about skills development:

“A winner is someone who recognizes his God-given talents, works his tail off to develop them into skills, and then uses the skills to accomplish his goals.”
